Official Blogger App for Android Released

The app is capable of handling any number of blogs and accounts simultaneously. The basics are in place like you can create and edit blog-posts, manage tags and upload photos either from the gallery or directly from the camera. There are more novel features like tagging a post with your location. You can choose to either publish your post directly or save it as a draft.
Tight integration with the Android OS is another plus of the Blogger app. You can directly open the app from the gallery for instance or open a post in web-browser to see how it actually looks. Blogger for Android is available for Android 2.2 and later and is already available for download in the Android Market. iPhone and Nokia users aren’t entirely hopeless either. The developers have confirmed that versions of the app for other leading platforms will be available soon.
