Apple Releases Aperture 3.1.2 Update, requires Mac OS X 10.5.8 or later

Apple has pushed out an update to their pro photo program Aperture on Tuesday, bringing the $199 Mac OS X app a bump to version 3.1.2.

Aperture 3.1.2 has the customary “overall stability and performance” improvement plugged in every Aperture update, along with precise fixes for iPhoto compatibility, image importing, library, and adjustment issues. It improves on how albums in folders, slideshows with text slides, and raw images are imported from iPhoto into Aperture 3. A variety of other small bugs are also being addressed in the update.

The Aperture 3.1.2 update is recommended for all users of Aperture 3 and requires Mac OS X 10.5.8 or 10.6.6 or later.  The 298 MB update is available in the Mac App Store at $79.99. The complete list of the update features can be found on Apple’s support site.
