LG announces the Optimus Pro, Optimus Net



LG unveiled a pair of mid-range Android smartphone for Europe -- the Optimus Pro and Optimus Net.

The Optimus Pro is a front-QWERTY keyboard messenger, with a 2.8-inch display at 240x320, Android 2.3 Gingerbread, 512MB/256MB ROM/RAM, 150MB of user storage, 800MHz processor, a 3MP camera, Wifi, aGPS, FM radio and a 1500 mAh battery. The Optimus Pro will come in white, titan and black.

The Optimus Net specs and design will vary by market, but the gist is a 3.2-inch touchscreen at 320x480, Android 2.3 Gingerbread, 512MB ROM/RAM with 150MB of user storage, an 800MHz processor, a 3MP camera, 1500 mAh battery and FM radio. Some versions will have NFC, and the North American version will have a QWERTY keyboard. In Brazil, China, Asia and the CIS, the Optimus Net will have dual SIM cards. It'll be available in white and black.
